Laurelhurst Beach Club Homes: Not all Laurelhurst homes are in the Laurelhurst Beach Club boundaries. This is one of the biggest misconceptions I know out there about Laurelhurst for first time Laurelhurst buyers. I have heard many say that if you live in Laurelhurst you should be eligible to join the Laurelhurst Beach Club, but Laurelhurst neighbors in the boundaries know that one of the reasons their home keeps its value is the Laurelhurst Beach Club membership.
So how do you know whether or not the home you are looking at purchasing is eligible to join and within the Laurelhurst Beach Club boundaries? Ask your Realtor for this information. According to the Laurelhurst Beach Club, "Generally Laurelhurst residents living South of NE 50th are within the Laurelhurst Beach Club Boundaries and eligible to join.
